Perfect Plate: Battle of the Champions will bring together previous winners from the past five years of the Your Local Club Perfect Plate Awards for a high-energy live cook-off, celebrating the standout dishes, talent and creativity of club dining.

Perfect Plate: Battle of the Champions will take place on Monday, 16 November and Monday 30 November 2026 at Sydney Seafood School – watch this space to see who will be crowned champion.

Meet the judges

Celebrity chefs Courtney Roulston and Hayden Quinn will join the 2026 Perfect Plate competition as judges, bringing their culinary expertise, passion for local produce and love of club dining to the search for the winning dishes.

Courtney Roulston

Courtney Roulston has been a Perfect Plate Ambassador for the past five years, having first risen to prominence as a finalist on Series 2 of MasterChef Australia in 2010. She’s a former Head Chef for the Sydney Swans AFL team, a long-time ambassador for Coles and SecondBite, and currently hosts Network Ten’s Farm to Fork. Her connection to clubs runs deep, having started her career in a bowling club, before going on to manage a club for more than 11 years. She also served as a judge for the club industry’s former culinary competition, Chef’s Table.

Hayden Quinn

Hayden Quinn is a foodie, surfer, writer and TV personality. His easy-going nature and enthusiasm for travel, the ocean, people and all things food make him one of Australia’s best-loved lifestyle media personalities. Hayden is a regular on Australian television; his show Taste of Australia and Taste of Australia BBQ Special has shot over 90 episodes all around the country, showcasing him at his best – meeting people, exploring the great outdoors and sharing seriously good food and recipes.
